Dental Care
If you need dental care, but you don’t have dental insurance or you have Medicaid, you may be eligible to receive dental care at the Free Clinic of Central Virginia.
What we offer:
We provide free basic dental services for adults by appointment only.

Basic dental care is provided by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Howard University fourth-year dental students under the supervision of volunteer local dentists

Basic dental care includes restoration (fillings), extractions, x-rays, and examination

Dental hygiene services are provided by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) dental hygiene students under the supervision of volunteer local dentists
We currently offer dental services, including root canals and crowns. We do have a waiting list for the services.

We do not provide sedation, only local anesthesia, for complex root canals, gum disease treatment, bridges, or dentures.
Eligibility Guidelines
You are most likely eligible if you:

Are Over Age 18

Have Household Income Below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level
